You are registered for courses at BMSC...now what?

Before arriving at BMSC:

Check whether your course has a required or suggested text book which you should purchase in advance.

All students piloting BMSC boats must obtain the Pleasure Craft Operator's Card (click here for more information).

What to bring: check out Brett's list- useful for both Summer and Fall programs.

Travel information can be found on the Getting to Bamfield page.


Arrive in Bamfield the day before your course starts.

Your accommodation will be available the night before the course starts and includes the last Friday night of your course. Dinner will be served at the cafeteria at 6pm.

Your room number, a schedule of the first weeks activities, general information brochure,s and a map of the centre will be included in your welcome package and will be available in the lobby of the main building.
