Equipment at BMSC

Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre has basic and specialty, field and laboratory equipment available for researchers and students. Some equipment may be priorized for either research or student use.

Equipment must be signed out with with the Research or University Programs Coordinator.

The Inventory Database will be a new tool to keep track of BMSC equipment. All equipment that is owned by the Centre is identified by a "BMSC number".

Please ensure equipment is returned and signed back in.

Also, please notify the Research or University Programs Coordinator if equipment is malfunctioning or damaged.

Please be respectful of our equipment.

It is costly to purchase new equipment, and our remote location posses challenges for repair.
