Youth Forum Experiences with the Public Education Program

About

A Youth Forum is a multi-day immersion experience into marine sciences designed for high school students (grade 11 and 12). Students looking to explore career options in science or a unique work experience placement are encouraged to apply. Youth Forum Experiences are held in spring and summer.

Immerse yourself in a BMSC Youth Forum and explore the diverse world of marine science. Activities include oceanographic surveys, field trips to wild coastal beaches, hands-on labs and discovering animal and seaweed diversity. Students work on individual or group projects in a supportive, dynamic learning atmosphere at a world-class marine research centre. Each Youth Forum is designed to cover a specific theme from biodiversity, research techniques, marine mammals, seaweeds/plants, and more.
