Grade School groups

A field trip program is offered for school groups (intermediate to Grade 12). Each group's itinerary is tailored to fit with their learning objectives. The program is intensive, exciting, and "hands-on". Most itineraries provide an introduction to marine biology, ecology and coastal biodiversity.

The days are packed with field trips to beaches, boat trips, experimentation and observations in the laboratory, and presentations about marine science.

We also have youth forums and work experience opportunities for interested senior high school students. These give students wishing to visit BMSC an opportunity to come without a school group. While here students work on various public outreach projects (website, brochures, games, etc.) and perform real scientific experiments. To apply, email for more information.
