Fundraising Activities List

...as well as seeking donations from your local businesses and community groups.

We invite all of our groups to share their fundraising ideas and stories by emailing them to us here: Anne Stewart

Further Financial Assistance is made possible by the kind generosity of Wendy and Leslie Rebanks. They are pleased to know that their donations will be used as "seed money" for elementary teachers who are fundraising for class trips to Bamfield.

“It is most important for as many young students as possible be exposed to the wonders of natural science and develop a love of and curiosity for the living world.”

Teachers seeking field trip bursaries are invited to write a letter to the Public Education Program outlining their financial need.

Oceans of Art

Painting by Dave Davies

The proceeds of artwork sold from the Oceans of Arts Gallery go towards the BMSC Public Education Program’s bursary fund.

Alternatively, to assist entire classes with their BMSC Field Trip fundraising efforts, a piece of Oceans of Art work can be donated to them to use for a fundraising activity. Participating classes are asked to please acknowledge the contributing artist in a local press release.

Teachers of students requiring financial assistance are invited to contact the Public Education Program for further information.
