Family Marine Biology Workshops

Summer 2012 Family Workshop Schedule

This weekend will introduce your family to marine biology, with topics ranging from microscopic plankton to marine mammals and birds. Each day will be organized into a number of activities, including:

* Hands-on labs featuring the incredible diversity of life in Barkley Sound (marine invertebrates, seaweeds, plankton)

Field trips to explore the local rocky and sandy beaches
Boat trips through Barkley Sound to observe the local marine life
Walks through the Old Growth rainforest
And more...
