BMSC Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Vancouver Foundation manages an endowment fund for BMSC that provides scholarships and fellowships to undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who take courses or conduct research at BMSC. Whether a student receives one of these scholarships or fellowship often determines whether they they are able to study at BMSC at all.

In 2008, funds from this endowment helped 38 undergraduate students, _ graduate students and one Postdoctoral Fellow to study at BMSC.

To make a donation, please do the following:

1. Click here: the Vancouver Foundation on-line donation link
2. Enter "Bamfield Marine Station Scholarship Endowment Fund" (or simply "Bamfield") in the box labelled "To a Specified Fund:" then click the "Search" button.
3. Select "Bamfield Marine Station Scholarship Endowment Fund" from the search results.
4. Fill in the necessary donation details on the form.

This web page will allow you to request further information on how to make a gift via a bequest. If you or your lawyer wishes more details about making a bequest, see "STEP 4 - TRIBUTE / MEMORIAL GIFT").
